In a time when the traditional bricks-and-mortar real estate model is dying a long slow and painful death, new technologies, powerful Internet tools, and AI apps are changing everything about how homeowners sell homes how buyers find and buy their homes. The traditional listing agent who charges a massive real estate commission for doing very little, is no longer needed by homeowners. What traditional brokerage models are missing entirely is that consumers, meaning buyers and sellers, have moved on long ago. Buyers don't call listing agents to ask if they can find them a home. Buyers jump up on Zillow on their computer or an app on their smartphone, and they search for their own idea of the perfect home. When they find it, they call an agent so they can see it. The listing agent plays no role in this except to input the listing into the MLS where the buyer found it in a syndicated site, which is all automatic. The key is getting the listing in the MLS to begin with, and we do that for clients at a fraction of the fee traditional listing agents charge.
